Description

On our recent, mini vacay to Boothbay Harbor Maine, we got a chance to walk around - take in the sights - act like a tourist. There was some very cool sculptures around the town - and all kinds of cool artwork - And then there were these - Giant Blue Hubbard Squash's.
They were tremendous - and donned the doorways of many local spots. Some of them were just as they are but many were beautifully painted with fun pics & designs.
Maine has so many picturesque towns - They are soulful & quaint. Each one has a personality all it's own. For Booth Bay Harbor - aside from the gorgeous rocky coast - the many Blue Pumpkin (squash?) all weighing around 1000 lbs. - was quite the sight.
