Description

Maine's icy cold winter months make for a very chilly walk along a rivers edge. We stopped to rest along a partially frozen stream. The outer edges were covered with broken slats of ice - I could hear water running underneath.I love the sound of running water - a brook, stream, waves as they ripple up onto the sandy shore.
It was a winter moment - as I am so not a winter person - no cold outdoor sports for me - not even ice fishing. I enjoy the Maine view - the people - the scenery - the crisp clean air - and the sound of water. For now I am renewed. The sweet white falling snow continues but spring season isn't too far off now. I also love how life replays.
