The past year I haven't been too far from home - No music - can't play - not allowed to sing - so no work at all. So aside from grocery shopping & an occasional visit to see my son & the family - I've been home.
At the end of the summer season my friend Jo asked about getting lunch at a place called Hurricane's in Kennebunkport, Maine. We met up "in the port" and walked over. The restaurant is located right on the Kennebunk River by the bridge that separates the port from lower village. It's all gorgeous!
Because of covid, we dined outdoors - it was a beautiful day & these boats were part of the view. We chatted through each delicious bite & finished our cocktail - and off we went for a walk along the Kennebunk River. Now I know I must drive everyone crazy with my camera but I can't help taking pics. Jo knows this about me so I just started shooting. Theres nothing arbout this area that's not scenic! And then there's these 3 boats - which I've photographed before but honestly, it's always a dull or rainy day when I do. But not this day - This day was bright, warm & sunny - a perfect day to be out and about - especially after not being anywhere for so long.
I took many photos that day - I haven't yet begun to go through them all. It's such an incredibly beautiful area - - I just hope I do it justice.
And Jo, one of the best friends I have - she & I always have fun on our dine out for lunch days. I'm looking forward to the next one - It's coming up soon.
