Description
Today a happy little sailboat blew by. The ocean water sparkled like diamond - It was such a bright & sunny day. And although it was October - it was warm enough to enjoy a day of sailing on the down east end of the Maine coast. Autumn allows for such a clear crisp view - so vivid in color & gentle weather - eve though it is the calm before the storm.
We hit our vacay just right - It was the last summery fall weekend of the year. The leaves were spectacular - all in full fall color. Just another week & the wind would begin to blow them away &away. We both knew this was it - so we took it all in and made peace with changes ahead. Nature is my higher power - the water - the light - the warmth & the colors of all the seasons.
